help need with the bcb crusader

hi evening fellow bushcrafters just wanting some advice on the bcb crusader cooking unit,now my question is i really like the black coated one but heard very bad reports about the coating coming of and everyone advises go for the non coated one now whats all your recommendations on this as I'm undecided

I have had both and unfortunately i can confirm that the coating comes off
this is after a fair while of use but it wasn't noticed at first so who knows how much of the coating i had ingested before i did noticed

shame really as the coated one looks so much nicer but i just do not like the thought of chewing on some powder coated bits so i think its the non coated one that I'm going for thanks again for the quick response

the non coated one will on the outside develop a lovely pattern when you use it over an open fire it'll bring back memories ever time you look at it
