here it is

I got this cup years ago, and just found it in an old boy scout backpack from mom's house I was going through.

it fits perfectly on a pepsi can stove.

Pity I did not know about them back then.

Anyway I am making a stove, and plan on taking
this out for a test.

If it works out as well as it did at home, I would like to get another.

One unique thing is the top 1/2 inch or so is a different metal that does not get to hot to sip even just after coming off the fire / having hot coffee / tea poured into it.

Any one know what it is?

Thanks in advance

Jim

P.S.

I hope the pic prints, but if not the link should show it.

Am I missing out how to show pics?

tnx j.

thank you I just looked em up and that seems to be what I have.

I can get em online for about $5

Any one else have experience with these?

Any better alternatives at similar low cost, that I can use over a alcohol stove?

Hi Jim, you are lucky living in the states, a lot of stuff is cheaper out there. Forget the Titanium, a 200ml cup is not up to much and its a rip off at eighteen dollars. For a pop can stove or similar, why not go for

Eight dollars plus delivery :)

The stove base works well, I've used one with a pop can stove and a standard Trangia burner, both worked well, and the mug is big enough to heat MRE's and hold enough liquid for a good sized drink without having to refill as you do with those little Titanium things. Don't forget you can also burn those Tri Ox bars you can pick up cheap over there with you
