Hi Everyone
Have been lurking for a while so thought I ought to introduce myself. I live near Southend-on-Sea in Essex and have always felt most at home surrounded by nature and away from concrete, bricks and tarmac. Have been a silversmith for many years, lately a teacher but now knifemaker.
Having moved out to Hockley from the horrid sprawling city that is Southend I'm now surrounded by woods so I get out and about quite a bit
Thanks to you all for the amazing wealth of information and I hope to be able to contribute something one day.
Anyone know of permissive woodlands one can go Waltzing Matilda around here?
