Hello all,
I am Cadian (aka Mike) and am writing from eastern Nebraska in the central US. I am excited to be a member of the forum and for years have found myself reading bushcraft info from the UK. My login name comes from my heritage as I am Acadian(Cajun) and native (Lakota, Huron, Cherokee). I am an avid woodworker and blacksmith and a fair leather worker. I am 51 and was literally raised in the woods of the Ozark Mountains. I miss the mountains but also love my home on the plains. I am an investigator by trade and hope to be a full time craftsman soon. I am also a Boy Scout leader and father and stepfather of 7. I fish, hunt, hike, camp and just about anything else outdoors. I love making equipment. Looking forward to making new friends here.
