Would just like to say hello to you all.

Im not new to the bushcrafting idea but since i was in the army all my partners have not been too keen on the ideals i have and would not share the fun or allow me to do it myself.
So i decided to get a new Girl, and this one doesnt mind one bit.

Now after years of doing a small bit here and there i can finally get back out into the woods and start having fun again..

Im just starting to get kit together again ready for some nights out hunting and living off the land and am looking forward to trying out the hammock and tarp style of sleeping rather than cold on the floor under a basha!!!

Im looking to save for a JRB bear mountain bridge as i have read all the reviews and this looks like the one for me.

Is there anyone else in the northants/kettering area on here that goes out locally??

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks

Martin

Hi Martin, welcome to the forum :)

I'm 10 miles from Corby and have been known to occasionally sleep in a hammock.

i don't do much locally though, I prefer to travel as local means stealth and most of the surrounding land is owned by my customers. Lots of deer shooting locally has halted any permissions so far.

Thanks for the warm welcome, seems like a very friendly forum.

I would have come to the meet but at the moment due to lack of work money is scarse and without money i cant seem to buy any kit???

Weird i know!! lol
