Hi all,

I could have sworn I already made an introductory post but it was some months ago so I figured it would be a good idea to say hello again.

My main reason for joining this forum is that I don't really know any like-minded people and the couple of wild camps I've been on this year have been solo.

This probably isn't the best time of year what with all the fairweather campers beginning to hide away (!), but I'd love to network with other bushcrafters and misc. outdoorsy types, and perhaps participate in some meetups over the coming months.

I've been lurking on here for a while now, using the forum for some valuable information on kit selection and general practices so you can also consider this post a 'thank you' for all of the quality content and discussions!

Hi Mark, welcome and enjoy.
Keep an eye out on the Kent group here. http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133403

Hi Kelly - yes I joined the group thanks.

Hi and Welcome to the forum.
have you heard of badgells wood campsite ?
http://badgellswoodcamping.co.uk might be somewhere you would like to check out that is only 20 mins from you.

Thanks for the heads up ocean1975 - I know more or less where that is as I've done a couple of overnighters in the Cuxton/Upper Halling area of the forest just north of there, plus I love to ride around those little villages like Vigo and Harvel on my motorbike.
