I am new to the forum and to 'bush craft' but not to outdoor living.
Ex-Soldier, used to camp as a kid and in my 20's did a bit of climbing, sailed atlantic so, not a novice. However I have had a 20 yr break with kids etc (wife didnt like camping & outdoors).
So now I am catching up on lost time.
Happy to chat with you good people, swap ideas and locations, particularly interested in locations as the world seems to have got itself all filled up. I am interested in disappearing for a few days / weeks on end and not seeing people. Just a Bivi bag, knife, axe, hand saw and a ferro rod. Happy to chat or tag along with others may be even make up a squad for foreign adventures.
I live in Cheshire in NW but looking for locations to camp across UK. Any good locations in Wales or NW for this weekend would be useful.
