Heads up - Evri Delivery scam.

You may well already know about this one
but
Some of you are expecting evri deliveries.

I have no order placed for delivery at all.
I’m certain this is a scam.
It’s got all the hallmarks - the Y confirmation of your device and the request for data that they should already have in their system.

The above is a screen shot and I’ve altered the link digits.

@Wildgoose This was a text but the same applies.

Edited to add:
Everyone knows that Evri are carp. How many people will just sigh and hit the link.

100% definitely a scam.

Even if you are awaiting a delivery where such a thing happened, it’s the sender’s responsibility to sort it anyway.

That’s why I posted - I think there are folk here expecting Evri deliveries.

I had the same today, not expecting anything via Evri so realised it was fishy.
When I helped a local courier out a few years ago we had a manifest with the address on, no worries if the label was torn!

I'm sorry to hear of this; our local Evri courier has been absolutely excellent, and I honestly have not a single complaint.
We get a lot of deliveries too.

I'm not quite so confident of a couple of the other courier companies though, and find myself wishing the sellers had just used Evri.

I think it must be an individual thing, and it really ought not to be so.

Good on you doing a heads up about this though; it's appreciated.

Unfortunately Evri are only as good as their local agents, usually self employed and underpaid (especially if they’re in the countryside doing a lot of miles) It’s not the best way to retain staff if you treat them like they have no value whatsoever.

Me too. It’s easy enough to look at the email address or phone number it’s sent from and realise it’s not legit.
