The wife picked up a box of Chanterelle (yes Chanterelle!) mushrooms (fresh) plus a bix of oyster mushrooms for 2 quid!!! I cant stand that supermarket either..But thats an excellent find! Well done Mrs jimbo.

I saw Chanterelles in Morrisons a couple of weeks ago - 100g for £2.50 picked in Bulgaria. I picked over 10kg of the things at the end of August, I should have been punting them out at £2 per 100g and bought myself something nice
