Hazel fork

Another utensil, my first fork, carved out of hazel and coated with Walnut oil. I still have to apply a few more coats over the next couple of days, but this is essentially finished. That's three spoons, a spatula and a fork.

Nice clean lines there goodjob

Looking at it though I'd probably have gone further in with the lines so they're more usable for spearing food.

I'm not quite sure what they're called, but you know those little plastic forks you get in lunch meal containers that you can take with you? That's sort of what I was going for here. It's not really for eating spaghetti or anything like that, just chunkier things, I guess! I also saw a couple of forks/sporks on BCUK with similar designs in terms of the fork tines and they were on my mind. I'll do a fork with longer tines later on.
