Hardness testing ....

Morning folks. Can. Anyone recommend where or to whom I can send a knife to for hardness testing and grind evaluation ? Cheers

You could approach a test house to conduct the hardness testing. I use several in Sheffield who are professional and charge reasonable rates. Not sure about grind evaluation though, thats not an area I have ever had to get involved with.

Maybe contact a maker on here chap, such as FYGT, they may have onsite kit or maybe send it with there own sample to be tested?

foe the hardness test try the brass rod test, look it up on BB and have a go...

ref the grinds what are you wanting to know??? what angle it is or how good they are or what sort?????
