You are so right; it is good to get to this day and I know it gets colder but the light comes back, and it makes such a difference. We have been so overcast at times this past fortnight that we're not even getting six hours of useable light.

This day represents the middle of “my time”. The time of year when I am happiest and most creative. I love low golden sunlight shining through black branches. I miss the frosts that we used to get here.
