Shortly after my 18th, my parents took me to an out of town pub one night. As we walked up to the bar, the landlord said, "How do, Ian. This your Mum? You'll have to behave yourself tonight, eh? My Mum gave me what can best be described as an 'old fashioned look'. I got a bit of ear-ache later, but we had a good night all in all.
