Sat here this morning, bored, so grabbed a stick, put some Bowie on and grabbed a pocket knife and just started whittling to see what appeared, hour or so later i have this ahem pot hanger, and if not a pot hanger, it's a joined section of small cordage reels with a hanging hook on one end .

It could be used as a hanger for small cups i suppose by inserting the sections into a forked or split stick or even as shown two small sticks lashed together, with or without the ends being lashed as well, all depends on the geometry of the stick being used, it would also be a better with the inside surfaces of the support sticks being squared off for a better fit.

Very neat job as always @Kepis, regardless of whatever it is. Uniform in all dimensions and that’s not easy.

I once sat by a fire with my then eight year old son and started him whittling a stick. He asked what were we making.
I told him that wasn’t the point. It’s the whittling that matters.
