Hello

I'm going to attempt fitting a handle to a blade, which has just arrived.

It's come with pre-drilled holes, 5 in total. One in the middle of approx 5mm, two at either end of 8mm, and then another two of 4mm.

Presumably using all 5, with a handle that will also be epoxied, is excessive? I had planned on 2 rivets or bolts.

Does that sound about right? I presume the range of hole sizes is to make it easier to source pins?

Lastly, are there any handy tutorials on the site?

Many thanks

Some holes are to balance the blade ie remove weight ready for scales or to throw the weight forward a tad , I thinks ;-) not my science but sounds good LOL

The holes are probably just to give you options of where you want the pins, they dont sound big enough to reduce weight ?
There are several tutorials on youtube that will give you ideas.

Hi

Thanks all for the replies. I've ordered some loveless bolts.

Can I just confirm - the idea with the corbys and lovelesses(eseses) is that when fitted and tightended, they sit proud of the scale, and then get ground back so they're flush?

Many thanks
