Keeping to the idea that everything you carry should serve more than one purpose, how about turning your water bottle into a bottle lantern? The Firefly, invented by Eric Goldfarb is a unique design which turns your bottle into a lantern. The Firefly's unique design allows it to be used right side up, upside down, or hanging from the nearest handy branch.
The unique lid design contains an integrated LED light which spreads a warm glow throughout the bottle. It has variable light levels so you can have a nightlight for stormy nights, or a reading light for enjoying your latest read; the control is at your finger tip! The electronics are in a separate sealed compartment, so there's no risk of water or juice gumming up the works! Compatible with all standard wide mouth bottles. The Firefly uses 3 AAA size batteries (not supplied). We recommend rechargables since they are more enviromentally friendly. With so many bottles and accessories on the market, it can be hard to pick the right size. The Firefly has been tested with the following bottles: Nalgene (Polycarbonate & Polyethylene), Nalgene N-Gen, Bison, Cyclone, GSI and Swiss Gear.
