Well.
I did it.
I took part.
The place I chose was Crooks Peak,up on The Mendip Hills,in Somerset. UK.
It was a windy night ,but I bivvied down in a small clearing amongst some Gorse,which kept the wind off of me all night.
It was a clear night and the sky was full of stars.
The sunrise was glorious ,but about an hour or so before that,I watched the International Space Station pass by at 6.04am.
Not sure how many took part,but the result will be posted on Farcebook on the 4 th of March.

@bopdude and me were out bivvying just off the summit ( way too windy ) of Roseberry Topping in North Yorkshire.

So how long did you guys manage to sleep for? I lasted about 3 hours in a bivvy before a slug got on my face. Any new personal records?

All the participants names will be featured in a book printed later in the year by Russell,who now holds the records for bivvying on all of the 214 (?) Wainwrights.
