I wanted to take a moment to say that I have just found this group, and it looks like something I've been looking for! I know I'm a long ways off, but the love for the outdoors, the skills, and learning new things, do not have boundaries.
I was in the USAF for 15 years, got out and joined the local Search and Rescue group (searching on and around Pike's Peak, elev. 14,110 ft). Shortly after joining, I began training in the art of tracking missing persons. I've attained Signcutter level and have been tracking, teaching tracking and talking tracking ever since.
Best hobbies are all outdoors - photography wildlife and landscapes, canoeing, hiking, fishing, and tracking.
That's it, in a nutshell. Happy to be a part of it here.
Thanks!
Dave
