I'm not at all new to the outdoors life, but it has been in abeyance for a long time because of the joys of self-employment and a few bouts of illness. I'm just a year or so shy of being able to stop working for a living, and when that time comes I'll be able to spend more time developing my interests in botany and bushcraft skills. In the meantime, it would be good to hear from others of a like mind in my area - the Forest of Dean.
