Hi all,

Anyone know where to get decent quality 3 mm green cord? I had some from years ago but they just don't make it like they used to (at least what I can find!)

Hi all,

Phil, you could try "Hootchie" cord, basicly its between 2.5 and 4 mm in diametre, olive green in colour, braided and has a breaking strain similar to para cord, the generic type is used in builders chalk lines and you can get it in all sorts of colours, (white green, fluro green and orange, etc.) it is sold in most building supply stores and some garden centres, its available in an unchalked condition and is quite good for use out in the woods for all sorts of things due to its strength.

I hope this is helpful..

Karl..
