whilst i was out on my last overnighter with the kids the bulb blew on my petzl micro headtorch.
no big deal as i had a working spare bulb, but i have replaced the bulb once before and it cost me a fortune.
most companies on the interweb charge £1.99 for the bulb but then the swines can charge anything from £3 up to a whopping £6 for postage!!!
after a little more searching i found a site called wiggle. they specialise in triathelete gear such as bikes etc but they do stock petzl spares.
these wonderful people charge 99p per bulb and postage is free, so i ordered two at a total cost of £1.98 with an expected wait of about a week.
5 days later the jiffy bag arrived with my bulbs and they even threw in a small pack of haribo!
