Just thought I'd share a nice bit of customer care I'm impressed with.

A couple of months ago I bought a field knife from Ben Orford. One aspect I liked about it was that the knife could be carried handle down as it had a rare earth magnet fitted in the sheath.

Anyway, whilst wearing it at the moot I lost it :( Luckily I retrieved it thanks to the stalwart actions of Cap'n Badger and Mr Fenna who searched with me all the way from the Naughty Corner to Dingly Dell. :) I took the sheath apart and fitted an extra magnet in the sheath to increase the grip but I'm still not 100% certain it'll stay there.

I've just had a chat with Ben on Facebook to let him know of the problem I had so he's aware in case it was a duff batch of magnets. Despite me telling him I'd taken the sheath apart and fitted an extra magnet he's insisted that I give him my details so he can send out a replacement sheath that's been fitted with the new magnets they're using.

It's the little things like this that make you feel that makers like Ben really care about their customers :You_Rock_
