Good sea fishing spots near Glasgow?

Hi all,
Can anyone suggest a good sea fishing spot for mackerel within an hour or so of Glasgow?

Loch Long was always good for Mackerel, we’d put the canoes in by the oil depot and paddle across to Loch Goil, always had a few on the feathers after the crossing

A pal of mine favours the Inverclyde area like greenock and Gourock. I don't personally tend to sea fish but if I go this year I may go spinning for mackrel in Dunure
