Golok facelift

Here you go !!!
A nice golok I have just got but the poor thing looked a bit drab so off I went.
I wanted to do something a little different but not go over the top so as the pics show a subtle design either end and some unusual filework hope you like what I've done ?
All comments good or bad welcome

Good work, have you tried rubbing/wiping ketchup on it to force a patina, then polishing the raised areas? Think it would look awesome.

Thanks mate I don't mind it's NOT A REAL one.its a machete to work with till my 1944 Colin's turns up and that is real lol.
It took 7 hrs in total

There is simply too much detail to polish each tiny part if it was to have a forced patina good idea though

No, it's the engraving that stays dark. You just wipe over with ketchup so it fills the dents then give at a quick buff up.

The longer you leave it the darker it'll get as long as it's not stainless. Overnight will give you a very dark patina. 1 hr will give you a dull gray.

The whole area, try and get as much off the other areas as you can otherwise it'll mean you'll have more to buff up.
