Why the name Golf Ball Bowl?, well, the exterior finish looks like the dimpled surface on a Golf Ball, it is in fact just a lovely tactile tooled finish to the willow bowl i started a little while ago, details of which can be seen in this thread http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94377.
I spent some time today cleaning up the inside of the bowl and refining the exterior a little, the two ends (end grain) have been left a little thicker than the rest of the bowl, mainly because it's Willow, i was worried about the knot right in the middle of the base, but, so far it has behaved itself and shows no sign of cracking or splitting out.
The bowl is now more or less finished, still needs a little work doing on the outside surface to decrease the size of some of the dimples, but other than that, i guess it's done.
