Hi

Is there unit out there that would enable positioning a GoPro or other camera next to a target and sending the picture/view back to an Ipad some 200 - 500 yards away to permit tracking bullet placement? Clearly needs to be by way of radio signal.

Thanks

K

I use the Capture and Quik apps on an iPad, to link to a GoPro 4. They are free and work fine so long as you dont use the very highest resolution settings in your camera. Wifi range varies on the device though, and i havent tried over that kind of distance.

Maybe another alternative would be some kind of wifi linked security camera?

Have a look at IP cameras, something like that should be a suitable alternative if you can find a way of doing it with the GoPro. They're quite cheap aswell.

but why does the recording stop when it hits the target?

i hope these are reusable and it would be cool if they work underwater as well.
