glue for leather

i have run out of glue that i use for leaher work, up to now i have used evostick but it can be messy what glue do you recomend? the leather i use is 3mm veg tan and maybe some lighter leather for backing.

I use UHU from the 99p store - it's not mega strong but sets quickly & good enough to let me stitch up

got my self a hot glue gun today to give that a go to see how it works.

I find it can set too quickly & leave bumps or just burn your fingers... Good luck!

+1 leather cement is great stuff

Never use super glue on leather - it doesn't flex and move with the leather. I use contact cement or a specific leather glue.

Another vote for the Fiebings leather cement, I tried all sorts before I got to that and it's better than all the other glues for leather imo.

the main one is evo stick time bond, but it gave me so many headaches it was unreal in the end i had to change it, and i found this and its even better than the timebond and no headaches,
its called thiofix, and would not use anything else.

A small question on the all time favorite, Leather cement, is it waterproof or are there multiple types, waterproofs and water-solving ones.
