I gave a trial to the (new) Gerber BG Ultimate Survival Pro





it's a serious survival tool, all the package (knife, sheath, sharpener, firesteel, whistle, emergency pocket guide) it's really well done IHMO.

Very good write up, apparently works well despite it's flashy appearance, I have a BG compact fixed blade which I looked at as a result of a review by johnathanD also flashy but a good practical knife...[h=1][/h]

I've had mine a couple months now and I can't fault it. I've not quite mastered stone sharpening it yet, thats my inexperience more than anything else though.
