Gerber machete rehandling and new scabbard

Finally got around to staining and finishing the new handle and making the wooden scabbard. Much more comfortable to swing and the scabbard stays rigid so can be sheathed with 1 hand. Not the prettiest but it suits my needs

That looks alright to me the only change I would make would be to cut the top of the sheath at an angle so that it marrys up with the handle scales.

I thought that after the event actually but the only ply that thickness I had was an inch too short. Maybe a mk2 on the cards soon. As you may be able to tell I'm not fantastic with wood lol
