Received an email today from the binocular company 'Maushaus' regarding supplying Park Rangers in the Congo with secondhand binoculars (and other kit).
In brief, any redundant binos in working order will be passed on and used by the Rangers in their role of gorilla protection.
Maushaus are also offering a free gift to anyone who buys new binos and then donates their old ones - see their website for more info.
Just to make things clear please note that I've no connection to Maushaus other than being a satisfied customer! Just thought there may be a few on here interested in contributing.
