My sister in law comes from Tasmania she says it's beautiful .....then she married a Scot's Doctor and moved to Brisbane

Och aye, the sacrifices some hae ta make fer love and money...

I think I got a much better deal marrying an artist and moving to Tasmania. But she's right: it is beautiful!

My eldest daughter is there working, at the moment, in Burnie and my brother is in Hobart. He went there for the dam protests and never came back!

Good to hear! The island does have the ability to enchant people- I knew within hours of arriving here on my first visit that I'd eventually be back to stay.
