I've just received my new Etrex 20 (eventually, no thanks to Yodel!) and its a handy bit of kit. The 600km2 of 1:25k map it comes with goes a long way.
With my old Etrex-H, I was able to up/down load waypoints and routes via Garfile and then import them as .mif files into Mapinfo professional to make my own maps and route cards. The new Etrex comes with Base Camp, which is OK but all of my previous data is in .mif format and I want to keep using Mapinfo. Does anyone know of a way of importing and exporting from the new Etrex's and converting to .mif?
I found Garfile on a German Christian Singers's website - random! But it worked well, googling has come up with nothing for this unit.
