top one polyporus varius. I have tried to eat it and it is not edible.
The bottom one I am fairly sure it is Honey fungus, armillaria mellea or a.cepistipes. Gills are fairly decurrent and pale. I always do spore prints for honey fungus though I don't bother alot of the time for other species, attempting to eat a pholiota is a mistake you only make once.
If you ID it as a honey fungus and decide to eat it. Only eat a small quantity first and eat it well cooked, as some people can't stomach armillarias. They taste quite good other wise.
