Alas no. The top one does look like a brown birch bolete, which is edible but i'd hesitate to give a positive ID without clearer pics.
yup, when trying to ID fungus, the more info you have, the better. the absolute basics are, top, bottom, stem and habitat. you can go further with spore prints and, if you have a handy high power microscope to hand, spore shape.
