Fungus ID (possibly dryads saddle?)

My usual spot recently has been full of these and wondered if anyone could ID it for me. And are there any used for it?

They look like mature Dryad's saddle to me, but it seems late in the year for them; 'round here they're April through to mid-June, but seasons are not set in stone. See here for more info:

yup, look like dryads to me too. earlier in the year they can be eaten but really not worth it and smell awful one they get to that size.

Cheers for the confimation guys. They did smell a little funky I have to admit not altogether appetising!
