they're both good, you can't go worng with a mora

all the more reason to search first then the moras are great knives, get a clipper it will mean you can learn how to use and maintain it well, my preference is for the carbon steel version

For anything sea, the stainless. For pretty much all else, the carbon. I have a couple of each.

Hate the Mora, like the clipper.

Depends what you're using to sharpen, natural stones it's easier with carbon. Diamond - either. Carbon will be slightly stronger (toughness) when carving - less likely to break bits of the edge off. Satinless will be better for food prep.

At the price they are - one of each.

Mora's and opinels are by far the best buy in the knifeworld. Not very artractive but does a great job.

Go for it! It doesn't cost a lot to try one.
