Out for a stroll this afternoon and I saw these two getting in a Springtime legover...
I'm not 100% on my amphibians, so I was wondering if they were frogs or toads.
I have them down as common toads. This is because:
1 - they have warty skin
2 - they walked and didn't jump
3 - when I bent down to get near to take a picture they stayed still
However, they weren't particularly big and they were in a wet habitat, both things I'd associate with frogs.
I've got my money on them being common toads, but love to have that confirmed or corrected by anyone who knows better.
