Free Standing Zip bags

I was looking through the special purchases section of Aldi for next thursday 12.01.06 and item 33 is a pack of 8 freestanding ziplock freezer bags for £1.39. They look ideal for pre made soups stews etc and lighter than cans plus being freestanding less likely to spill

Looks interesting but the only thing that worries me about these sorts of bags is the seal. If they get knocked about is there not a chance of the seal opening?
Ive used them before for dry foods ( flour etc ) but I would be a bit nervous of putting liquid like soup into them

Well worth trying out at that price and even if used just with dry goods a better easier to handle shape.
