Just for your information: I just bought a "wooly pully" type sweater. It's made by Fostex and is made in acryl, so not itchy. It is warm, feels soft againt the skin, doesn't itch, has a chest pocket, shoulder and forearm patches and a crew neck. If you like the model, but don't want a real wool one, I can recommend this.
BTW: I paid 30 euro. Not supercheap, but not bad compared to modern fleece type things.
Question: does Fostex have a website?
