Definitely no heat loss through to my legs when eating, though saying that, I was hungry, and they did not last long.
Good. Among all the wood carvings that I've seen over the years, I have never seen a plate and cutlery. Never.
Unique and so well crafted. If you don't own a branding iron, it's time you made one up to mark your work.
I've made several. The heads of 8" and 10" nails are 3/4" diameter. Dremel and some cutoff disks, 1/16" deep is plenty.
Wooden handle and a propane bottle torch and away you go.
Having failed, I do remind people to carve the design backwards!
