Does anybody know how this knife performes, for some reason, when it comes to knives, i trust the scandinavians!

But has anyone got advice, as i am looking for cheaper knives to test before i go all out on an expensive one.

Yup, I have one. Excellent knife for the money. If you have small hands you might not like it but you can also whittle the handle down to fit your needs. Other than that, it's a stout little scandi with all the quality you come to expect from Helle. The sheath is so so.

I have a Helle Futura. Nice knife from a company reputed to make nice knives.

How easy is the knife to sharpen? I know that stainless steel can be difficult, but thats why i want to try it.

You won't have a problem sharpening them. They sharpen as easily as any other scandi-ground blade out there.
