Fresh from some learning about getting started with fly fishing, I thought some information sources might help others. If you have further suggestions, please add them.

Here are some video clips from a shop called Tight Lines somewhere in the US (no association)...

Casting

I can't say whether the video on casting is 'correct', but it does come across as pretty clear. I think I can do what he's describing (and will give it a try a little later).

An ebook that I got for dipping into...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fishing-Tro...&qid=1401529959&sr=1-129&keywords=fly+fishing

This is a series of short articles (a page or two), each encapsulating a tip about the various aspects of fly fishing. On my Kindle, I read small amounts often, so I got this as a way of absorbing snippets of information by osmosis. A search on 'fly fishing' in the Amazon ebooks yields lots of hits. There are a few free ones, and loads at under £2. Some are instructional and generic, some are specific to particular species or areas, and some are more anecdotal. Make use of the look inside feature and check out any reviews. I'll probably get a couple more when I've done more browsing.

Any more?
