hi dunelm, do you know here souter lighthouse carpark is?if so turn off the coast road into carpark turn right and follow the road to the carpark on the whitburn rifle range side, then follow the coastal path on foot south between the cliff edge on your left and the range boundary on your right as you pass the ranges you'll see a cove/beach with a couple of washed up tree trunks on it there is a bit of a path leading down with rustic steps.thats where i found some if you have no luck let me know when your heading up and i'll try and meet up with you as i managed to find a few pieces on saturday that you can have.

Hi, no I'm not going to the northern meet - too many other things on at the moment. Was at the coast on Sunday - sadly N/Sheilds and Tynemouth to watch a surfing competition (???) no flint that side of the river...
