Flint in Ipswich??

Hi All,

So there I was in a hotel car park in Ipswich. I was with my boss from the US and another couple of guys standing round the car while we loaded in bags etc. Looking down at my feet I see some stones that looked an awful lot like flint, fairly big chunks about fist sized, some split but some quite rounded..... Barely managing to control the urge to pounce on them and start whacking them off the kerb I thought to myself is Ipswich a flinty area???

Anyone with local knowledge?? Should be back down in the future and as it's a bit rare up here I thought I could lob a couple of nodules in my carry on bag...?

Plenty of flint in Suffolk. Walls and whole houses are made of it around our way
