agree with Wayland, sheaths are crap.

but they're pretty solid axes. not bad steel. we use them here in Finland on my guiding course!!
 
I've got one of these and think it is great. It comes pretty sharp which seems rare for similar priced axes (I paid less that £20 on ebay) and with a quick gentle run over a stone after each use it is now even better. I have easily split seasoned ash up to 10 inch diameter with mine. Although admittedly I did need to split pieces off of the sides and gradually take the size down rather than just hit it in the middle like I could with my full size splitting maul.
The plastic sheath thing that it comes in is really bulky but does snap on fairly securely and stop you accidently touching the edge but I don't know how secure it will remain over the long term.
