First full backpack finished

This is my first go at a bag made primarily from 1000d material.

One of my sons need a new school bag so agreed to be the guinea pig.

It had two main requirements –

1/ Not to uncool that he would not use it.
2/ Large enough font pocket for sandwich box and bottle of drink.

Luckily it meet both requirements, my son picked the paracord colour from my draw of offcuts.

The outer shell in 1000d Navy Blue and the lining in IIRC 300d black.

I am really happy with the outside, the inside is a bit messy, but not to worried about that. About 98% complete, got a week before he goes back to school.

Thanks. One of the biggest challenges was finding the best needle / thread combination. I think I am there on that now.

The next one is for me. It will be mainly black with a small amount of Coyote Tan webbing to inject a bit of colour and some PALS/MOLLE webbing as well.
