After looking at all the bushcraft knives here, I wanted to give one a try. This is my first. The blade is L-6, with a rustic finish. The scales are mesquite lined with black fiber. Pins are brass, lanyard is ss tube. Overall length is 8 1/4 inches; blade is four inches.

Very Nice! Particularly like the rustic finish and i do think the scales compliment it very well. It's simplicity seems to belie the obvious effort put into the build and attention to detail in the finish. Top Job!:D

that's amazing, to be honest I think that is my favourite looking bushcraft knife I've seen. (my opinion of course). I just love the simplicity and the rustic look. Did you make the blade yourself?

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you guys like it. Heath, I did make the blade. Nightwalker, I have to give nature credit for the steel finish. The blade comes from a very large lumbermill circular saw blade. It was lying on the humid New Jersey forest floor for a number of years, which put a pitted patina on the surface. I have heard from reliable sources that L-6 benefits from multiple quenches so I triple quenched this one to refine the grain. We'll see how she holds up to some bushcraft use.
