First attempt at leatherwork

Hi guys and gals

thought i'd share this with you. my first attempt at leatherwork. a sheath for my opinel No 7. and firesteel. thanks to dreadhead for the leather

Your leatherwork looks good from what I can tell - but your photography needs work! Can't make out the stitching..... It's habit forming, prepare to spend some cash on tools.

What tool did you use to make that?

just used what i had to hand. stanley knife for cutting, battery drill for stitch holes and a fork to mark where the holes needed drilling. gotta admit the stitching isnt fantastic but im happy with the outcome none the less.

Good work on the pouch.

As for the photos its best to take them outdoors in daylight if possible it will make easier for your phone
