Earth- for awhile longer...
Once upon a time I was quite content with my wee horn handled firesteel......until I discovered these...

Those magnesium globules fired up my birch bark in micro seconds in the pouring rain.
It's a big 'un!!:lmao:

12.5cm long ( or 5"!) and 8mm( or half an inch!) diameter!! weighing in at 100 grams of sheer sparky power!

Ooooooooooohhhhh aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh ummmmmmmmm
I had just allocated £45 to buy a CD/DVD drive for my netbook, and now I find these... OK so I COULD buy the little one, but just knowing there is something called the Beast that is 12" and could create that much sparks I won't be able to sleep.
I mentioned it to 'er indoors and she reckons I would lose it in 6 months, but will still end up buying one anyway. She is probably right
