Fire starter I don't need!

On my internet wandering, following link after link I chanced upon this cardboard fire starter.

Ok its slow burning, it comes with 3 fire lighters and a £7.73 price tag with £4.69 postage.

Still don't think it would get those logs going mind. Neat design but would not a few small sticks work AND leave pennies for beer?

yeah, a bit pricey for the log fire at home each night. would also probably get squashed by a not so perfectly straight log.

Aren't your logs like that? I measure all of mine, and cut them with a mitre saw. I personally wouldn't use those logs, as they aren't all the same diameter.

We have an arrangement. I supplied him with a gauge with which to select my logs. If you demand the very best, it's surprising how often you get it......

I like too sand paper the ends too really bring out the grain
